The Stewart Family

Hi there! We're the Stewarts of Redmond, Washington. From left to right: son Pete Jr, wife Carol, son Ray, and me. I'm originally from New Jersey, and Carol hails from Munster, Indiana outside Chicago. We met in high school in Cherry Hill, NJ in 1975. We have lived on the East Side (of Lake Washington) since 1982. Pete Jr was born in 1984, and Ray came along in 1988. We've lived in Redmond since 1989. I worked for Microsoft from July 1982 until August 2000, and Carol is a free-lance writer, pianist, and harpist. Pete Jr received his Masters from the University of Chicago in June 2009, and Ray graduated from Western Washington University in December 2009.

Our family has two furry members as well, pictured on the right. Cassie, upper left in the picture, is almost eleven years old, and she's our sweet little old lady. She's the most agreeable, cooperative dog we've ever had, and that's saying something, because all of our dogs have been great. Our newest dog, Charlie Brown, is no exception. He's going on two, so he still has lots of energy and enthusiasm, and he loves to fetch! He is very persistent and very lovable.

It would take much too long—and be much too boring—to give you a complete narrative of our life in Washington, but on the off chance that you're just the least bit curious about our family history, here are some pictures of our family over the years before this web page was created.
